A free digital planner — without the catch
The Willow Weekly Kit is a genuinely free digital planner for iPad and Android tablets: 7 pages — weekly spread with top priorities, monthly habit tracker, and dotted, lined and blank note pages — that work in GoodNotes, Notability, Xodo and any PDF annotation app. Undated so it never expires, no watermark, no credit card. It is a real excerpt of our paid planner, not a crippled demo.
What's inside the free kit
Weekly spread

Monthly habit tracker
Track up to 31 days of the habits you are building, one gentle checkbox at a time.
Dotted, lined & blank note pages
Duplicate them as often as you like — that is the magic of digital paper.

An honest note about "free"
Most free digital planners are watermarked samples, expired last-year calendars, or bait for an app subscription. We do it differently: the free kit is simply the weekly system from The Willow Daily Planner, complete and usable forever. We give it away because most people who plan one calm week with it want the full thing — daily pages, monthly spreads, habit tracker, budget, 473 hyperlinked tabs, a landscape companion and 120+ stickers, for a one-time $19. And if the free kit is all you ever need, that is genuinely fine too.
New to digital planning? Start with our guide to how digital planners work on iPad or the GoodNotes setup guide, compare options in the best digital planners of 2026 — or skip screens entirely and print the kit on paper.

Free digital planner FAQs
Is there a really free digital planner?
Yes — the Willow Weekly Kit is genuinely free: a 7-page weekly planner and habit tracker for GoodNotes, Notability and Xodo. No trial, no watermark, no credit card. You get it by email, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
What is the catch with free digital planners?
Most free planners are either heavily watermarked samples or bait for a paid app subscription. Ours is simpler: the kit is a real, usable excerpt of our paid planner. If you love the style, the full Willow Daily Planner is $19 — and if the free kit is all you need, that is genuinely fine.
Do I need to pay for an app to use it?
No. Xodo (iPad and Android) and Samsung Notes are free and work well. GoodNotes and Notability — the most popular options — have free tiers with some limits and one-time or subscription upgrades.
Does the free planner work on Android tablets?
Yes. It is a standard PDF, so it works in Xodo, Samsung Notes and most Android annotation apps with a stylus.
Is the free kit dated or undated?
Undated — you write your own dates, so it never expires and you can start any day of the year.
Can I print the free planner instead of using it digitally?
Yes. It is a standard PDF, so it prints cleanly on US Letter or A4 — see our printable weekly planner page for print tips. Same kit, your choice of paper or pixels.
What is the difference between the free kit and the paid planner?
The free kit covers one week at a time (7 pages). The full Willow Daily Planner ($19) is the complete system: yearly view, 12 monthly spreads, daily pages, habit tracker, budget, gratitude log, 473 hyperlinked tabs, a landscape companion and 120+ digital stickers.
